We cherish life and strive to make the most of every opportunity that God gives us. We are blessed to be the parents of two God-fearing sons and a daughter-in-law. Having been born and raised in the Vaal Triangle, we have been part of this community for over 50 years. Our love for Jesus drives us to always respond to His calling. This devotion has taken us on a journey filled with adventures, leading us through both full-time and part-time work in business and ministry. Over the last 30 years, our ministry has brought us to various places in South Africa and internationally, including Lesotho, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, Turkey, and Australia. As a family, we have experienced both answered and unanswered prayers, but we firmly believe that through prayer, we can overcome any challenge. God’s timing is always perfect.

In December 2020, God called us to establish a house of prayer. Lighthouse House of Prayer began under a tree on a camp chair, with God. Our mandate is to pray specifically for the Vaal Triangle.
The Dream
We believe that LHOP will serve as a beacon of hope in the Vaal Triangle. It will be a 24/7 house of prayer where people from different Christian denominations can come together to pray for God’s transformation of our city and its people, seeking the arrival of His Kingdom in the Vaal.

Holy Spirit-led and prayer-driven! We base our prayer and teachings on the Word and truth of Jesus Christ. We seek God, the Father, in everything and pray, believing that the seven Spirits of God’s manifesting presence will be visible for all to see.

We are focused on preparing the bride for the end-time church. Our goal is to create a space for corporate worship where the people are invisible, placing the center stage back in the hands of God.
